Mental Health

Term 3

Dear Parents,

We know that this lockdown period is a challenge for many of us and our families as we juggle working and learning from home whilst keeping the safety of our families and community as our highest priority. We thank you for the support you provide our school in engaging with provided home learning and in keeping children at home (where this is possible).

We want to take this moment to acknowledge the importance of maintaining mental health during a pandemic. The link below is a document collating links to some translated resources NSW Health has provided (click on them to view the webpage) and a link to our Community Hub’s Facebook page which is full of opportunities to connect in the community.

We hope to share more broader resources with you in the coming days. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help via Google Classroom, SeeSaw or emailing the school.

Parents, we know there are so many different sources of information out there regarding COVID-19. We want to help make it easier to find useful and factual resources. As a start, here are 3 key websites:

1. https://education.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/advice-for-families/schools-in-greater-sydney1… (This is about how schools are impacted)

2. https://nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/changes… (this is NSW Health's Frequently Asked Questions about the guidelines for each LGA )

3. https://health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/multilingual.aspx… (This is a great resource with important health information translated into multiple languages.)
