All of this took on a whole new level of meaning for some of our Year 2 students, when Mr Chicken turned up at our school and visited 2A and 2V! This visit was particularly useful as students are learning to write recounts and could recollect parts of the story in an engaging way with the main character. There was certainly an air of engagement and excitement in the air as he was asked a lot of questions and given loads of cuddles. Thanks Mr Chicken!
