Year 5 students participated in STEM activities which help students increase their competency in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These activities fostered ingenuity and creativity. They encouraged the students to experiment, work as a team and apply their knowledge.
Students had a great time failing and trying again. STEM education stresses the value of failure as a learning exercise which will enable students to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.
