6M was inspired by a documentary called ‘Caine’s Arcade’ and wanted to create an arcade of their own. Students used their skills that they have grasped during STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) activities. They had to think critically and creatively to incorporate and analyse chance outcomes whilst working efficiently in their teams to complete their inventions.
6M had a fantastic time building, testing, failing, improving and eventually running their stalls. The amazing inventors used their persuasive skills to create posters and videos to entice others to visit their stall… It worked so well that they even attracted 6S and Ms Doran to join in on the fun! 6M’s Arcade became quite lucrative with students cashing in their counters and earning Mantzios Millions (classroom currency).
Students had a blast and are hanging to keep inventing!
