Geography - A Diverse and Connected World
Year 5 have been using their literacy and numeracy skills to explore the similarities and differences between countries within Asia. We have also been discovering and sharing connections between Australia and Asia. It was a lucky we learnt to read and write numbers of any size, the populations of Asia alone were huge numbers!
Students in 5B completed a web quest - researching geographical information about the different countries and regions of Asia. To make sure they used authoritative sites they also included a bibliography.
They are now using this information to identify similarities and differences across Asia and with Australia.
