This booklet has been created for parents, carers and families of children in the early years of school. It is full of activities to support the important learning that happens at home. The activities are designed for you to have fun with your child and to help them have a great start at school. Encourage your child to participate and explore the activities and support their individual responses.
In New South Wales public schools, students learn to use the NSW Foundation Style writing font. The following resource may provide guidance and activities to use with students in the early years. This resource will complement the phonics sequence activities. Each letter has a short script to support students in forming letters.
